Cryogenic Pipe Support

Our cryogenic pipe supports are custom-engineered to provide simultaneous structural load management and thermal barrier performance at temperatures down to −196°C. Each unit is custom-designed to optimize performance across all cryogenic processes, integrating hardware seamlessly with the urethane structure to maximize both process safety and installation efficiency. Clients benefit from extended equipment life, reduced operating costs, and shorter installation timelines.

Physical Properties of HD-PUF

Resting Type

Resting Type supports carry the dead weight of the pipe while allowing free axial movement, making them the standard choice for most horizontal cryogenic pipelines.
Built on a high-density PUR/PIR block with a bearing plate, the design is simple and fast to install. Sliding pads or PTFE sheets are added where needed to minimize friction, distribute pipe stress evenly, and maintain cold insulation integrity along the line.

FIXED TYPE (Anchor)

Fixed Type supports fully restrain pipe movement at designated anchor points, restricting both axial displacement and rotation.
At insulation-required locations, high-density PUR/PIR blocks are enclosed by steel clamps and anchor base plates — or welded directly to the pipe — enabling precise displacement control, effective load transfer, and favorable stress distribution across the piping system

Trunnion / Stanchion Type

Trunnion and Stanchion Type supports provide vertical pipe support and intermediate stabilization along extended pipeline runs — particularly at sections with heavy valves or equipment, directional changes, or significant elevation transitions.
PUR/PIR blocks act as an effective thermal barrier against ground heat, while external steel columns or pipe stanchions provide the structural rigidity needed to carry large loads across demanding plant configurations.
